B.S.L Training committed to safeguarding personal data. This Privacy Policy explains the data we collect and how we treat it in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information about your visit to our Website such as the items you searched for, viewed, and length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information. Also included is the information you provide to us if you contact us, enter a competition, complete a survey, or request information.

Information that you provide to us when enquiring about our BSL courses, Deaf Awareness and family signing.

All personal information provided to us is stored on our secure server. Any hard copy information that contains personal data is kept in locked and secured cabinets.

Once we have received your personal data, we use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Customer personal data is held in hard copy and electronic form. Electronic copies of this data will be held for a maximum of 6 years, upon which it will be archived. Hard copy data will be retained for a maximum of 3 years and shredded after this point.
Access to information
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time by contacting us at hello@bsltraining.org.uk or writing to us at our registered address. Please include information that will enable us to verify your identity; and £10.00, the current applicable fixed fee. We will respond within 30 days of a request.
We encourage you to contact us to let us know if any of your personal data is not accurate or changes need to be made, so that we can keep your personal data up-to-date.
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data where, for example, your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw your consent to processing, where there is no overriding legitimate interest for us to continue to process personal data, or your personal data has been unlawfully processed. Request to remove your personal data
